Summer Academy

Earlier in the week I had the privilege of talking to this year's Academy participants about electronic procurement. It is clear that the topic is new to Austria, which is good in the sense that there is room for expansion. At the same time the marketplaces themselves have a lot to learn in terms of accessibility and intuitive use. A memo will be written after the Academy and shared with the marketplaces.

Next week, we will speak about Supplier/Customer Relationship Management.

The day after.....

Already now, I am can say I am extremely pleased with our workshops. So far we have generated seven users on our market platforms - some sellers, some buyers. I will spend this week consolidating our experiences and will report to you soon again!

On November 18 we will have our second workshop on the topic of electronic procurement.
This time it will be in the English language, last time we had a workshop in German. Our two "in-house platforms", MFG.com and Newtron will present themselves for the attending companies and offer the audience is on demonstrations on how to work with the platforms to generate new business.

For natural reasons, we have more tests from Slovakia this time, and it will be interesting to see how they approach the offering from the two platforms.

Getting Ready

Two weeks ago we got acquainted with MFG.com, and next week we will spend a day together with Newtron, to get ready for introducing that platform as well.

Next week we start, and our first partner company is getting a chance at electronic procurement.

Today we spent the day online with MFG.com to prepare for our first companies. It is baffling to experience the breadth of possibilities through this dimension of business development. We equally look forward to working with Newtron, just as interesting as MFG in complementing ares of the world.

It is going to be an exciting summer and fall with the Duostars companies.
